An Electro Chlorinator is a powerful disinfectant system that eliminates harmful microorganisms present in water and protects against waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid, paratyphoid, and dysentery. The system works by generating sodium hypochlorite on-site through the electrolysis process.
In this process, the electrolyte solution consisting of water and common salt or seawater is passed through an electrolytic cell containing MMO-coated titanium electrodes. When electricity is applied for a specific duration, the system produces sodium hypochlorite solution, which acts as an effective disinfectant for water purification.
